About:
The Hash House will be Pines Picnic Area. (Not the Pines Campground as linked previously).
Subject to confirmation, the 12hr will start at 9am and finish at 9pm and the 6hr will start at 10am and finish at 4pm (if the start and finish times are varied they are likley to go back one hour).
Course setters Bert van Netten and Bob and Pam Montgomery have set a challenging and varied course.
The start will be at The Pines Campground, Watagans.
The event features, stands of towering slash pines, ridge and spurs of open dry eucalypt forest, to gullies of moist temperate rainforest. There are rock strewn moss lined watercourses and several waterfalls and box canyons on the map. There are some beautiful sandstone caves on the map. Lyrebirds, wallabies and a myriad of little finches have been seen by the competitors.
The event has walking and motor bike tracks criss-crossing it.
