Closing Date for Entries

Each event will have a set closing day, typically midnight of the Monday before the event.  At the organisers discretion entries may be left open after that date but a “late fee’ will generally be added to the cost.

If for some reason you find you need to withdraw after paying your entry, you may be granted a refund.  The amount refunded will be the full amount prior to the nominal closing date, which is usually the Monday before the event. No refund will be given after the closing date as funds have already been committed.,

Rewarding of Volunteers through free entry or training

In January 2010, NSWRA introduced a policy aimed at providing an incentive for volunteering and to recognise volunteers.

Volunteers who have made a major contribution to an event and forgone the opportunity to participate will be offered free entry to a NSWRA organised Rogaine, or a contribution to training.

Cancellation of an event

An event may be cancelled at the last minute due to a range of unexpected or uncontrollable circumstances. This rarely happens, but if it does please do not expect a refund. Most of the costs of creating the event will have already spent or been committed.
