Abermain / Werakata National Park
- Cost $50 full, $35 Concession and 14 and Under are free
- You can enter the 3 hour event solo or a team of 2-5 people
- The 6 hour event must be entered by a team of 2-5 people
- Maps available at 7:30am (note the changed time).
- You may start at any time between 8:00 – 09:30
- You can expect open bushland with Ironbarks, Eucalypti and wildflowers with denser rainforest areas around creeks
- A lot of bike tracks and trails
- Plenty of bird life
- Werakata is the Awabakal word for kookaburra.
- There is no camping on site but lots of camping and cheap accommodation in the surrounding villages and Cessnock.
