G'day Rogainers,
Photos and results are in for the 6hr & 12 hr ‘LaneCoveRivergaine’
The 2015 "Metrogaine" was a huge success, with just over 500 rogainers out on the course!
Ted Woodley crafted a great course, with so many route choices. There were great trails along the river, controls with great views, some of these well earnt after a steep climb. Logs to cross, bamboo to duck under and a shop or two for an ice-cream.
A big thank you to all the people who helped out before, during and after the event!
Ted has taken lots of photos of teams out on the course, which are up with the results on the webpage. We would love to get names under these photos, so if you spot yourself in a photo please email us with details at webmaster@nswrogaining.org
Entries are open. 3hr Minigaine: Sunday 22 March, Kincumber, Central Coast
“The 2015 3-hour "Bell-birds" Minigaine will comprise of both individual and team entries, with a mass start at 12pm on Sunday 22nd March.
The course encompasses areas of Kincumba Mountain Reserve, Kincumber and its surrounds to the south. Come and navigate your way around suburban streets and along bush tracks, whilst taking in the scenic views and water ways. Oh... and don't forget to listen for the Bell-birds. There will be challenges for those who wish to run the course as well as numerous playgrounds for the families to enjoy. The Hash House (start & finish) will be at Kincumber Public School, off Joalah Road.”
NSWRA Annual General Meeting 2015, 22 March 2015
Our AGM will be held at the end of the Minigaine (at Kincumber) on Sunday 22 March 2015, the AGM will start approximately 3:30pm. Our AGM is a very short and casual affair. It’s an opportunity to say a BIG thank you to all the committee and volunteers for 2014
All committee positions for 2015 are open for election. We are seeking nominations for all positions and all nominations are very welcome!
We are looking for new committee members! Are you interested? Do you want to find out more about what’s involved?? If so, please contact anyone on the current committee, or give Gill a call on 0413 905 551.
