6/12-hour autumngaine entries closing next Monday
Calling all adventure seekers
The great north coast Autumngaine is on over the ANZAC Day long weekend. Located at Bucca in the Coffs Harbour hinterland, the area is reached equally easily by freeway from both Sydney
and Brisbane, so this will be a State of Origin battle between the QLD maroons and the NSW blues!
Held on the Saturday in the middle of the long weekend, the Friday public holiday would be the perfect day for relaxed travelling since the action doesn't begin until 11am the next day.
The setters, Keelan Birch and Mark Hurry are keen to point out that a rogaine has never been held here before so it should be a brand new adventure.
Key event information:
- Entries close:        11:59pm Monday 21st April
- Full entry:               $70
- Concession entry: $50, and child under 14 free
- Start:                       11:00am Saturday 26th (both 6 & 12-hour)
Camping will be available on a large grassy oval over the Friday and Saturday nights, with toilets nearby, and only 5 minutes walk from the start. The area is only 30mins to hotels in Coffs Harbour, and shops including supermarkets are only 15mins away at Moonee Beach.
Post-event catering will be provided by local scouts, with build-your-own-burgers, soups, and other goodies.
A team finder service plus info for novices is available on the entries page.

Course highlights
Highlights include lovely rainforest lined creek lines,
waterfalls, old mining relics, and lookouts. The forest contains a mix of dry blackbutt, tallowood, flooded gum, and brush box. We are advised that the rainforest creek lines are really beautiful and generally the best to travel on.
47 off-track controls have already been hung and there will be an all-night cafe set up at a lookout approximately halfway through the course.
To get the most up to date info, including the Final Instructions when they are posted, visit the Autumngaine page on the website.
