G'day [FIRST_NAME] [LAST_NAME],2024 Festival of RogainingA-Cup-of-Tea in Capertee21-22 September
6-hour 15-in-24-hour Roving 24 hour Come enjoy a weekend in beautiful Capertee National Park exploring the second widest canyon in the world with the NSW Rogaining community! Were you with us in Rydal in June? This event is a fantastic progression to apply the skills learnt at the Navigation Workshop and 2024 Paddy Pallin Rogaine in Rydal. The Festival of Rogaining is open to all ages and fitness levels with volunteers on hand to provide advice to less experienced teams. It is the perfect opportunity to test out your off-track navigation skills in a fun & safe environment. This festival is bringing back the 15-in-24-hour Roving event - where teams can spend up to 15 hours out on the course anytime over midday Saturday to midday Sunday. You can enjoy the bush and then return to the Hash House for sustenance and sleep before heading back out onto the course. You just need to check-in and check-out each time you return to the Hash House and ensure you spend less than 15 hours out on the course. We'll also be offering a 6-hour rogaine from 12pm-6pm on Saturday and the traditional 24-hour rogaine event where the only time you must watch is that you return by midday on Sunday. Note: The 6-hour, 15-in-24-hour Roving and 24-hour options are the maximum time you can spend out on the course, there is no minimum time. The Hash House will be centrally located on the map and serving hot food & drinks from Saturday dinner time all the way through until Sunday lunch time, which is included in your entry fee. So you can enjoy the bush and then return to the Hash House as many times as you like for food, a cup of tea, a chat around the campfire, or sleep, and then head back out for more bush time to a part of the course you've not visited yet! Check out the event page for full details and accommodation options. There are even two cottages available to book close to the Hash House that you can return to during the event.
