Description

Our first Bush Rogaine of 2014 was held at Gibraltar Rocks, between Lithgow and Jenolan.

There was a 6 hour and 12 hour event. both starting at midday 10 May.

The course setters, Antoniya and Andrew, described the area as "a great Rogaining location", predominantly eucalypt woodland with a very attractive open under-story that begged to be walked through. There was a network of tracks crossing the course for those that like to run.  Also plenty of more remote locations for those that don't. The terrain around the Hash house was very pleasant with the nicest terrain that is easy to read and walk through. In the remote corners of the course there were plenty of challenges if you were up for it. It was a small course, 1:25,000 on A3, with spectacular lookouts.
