Sydney Summer Series results

Description

This year's Minigaine event covered a mix of street and bushland navigation in Sydney's North Shore.  Because the event has proven popular with the Sydney orienteering community and is gaining status as a sort of cross-over event, NSWRA joined forces in 2012 with Orienteering NSW event, to make the Minigaine serve as one of the events in the very popular Sydney Summer Series. Note that you didn't have to be competing in the Summer Series to take part in the Minigaine - it is an NSWRA event just like always....

There was the usual mix of cunningly placed and scenic checkpoints, and like previous years there was a rolling start, allowing you to start anytime between 1 pm and 3 pm - finishing 3 hours later.

Where:
The start/finish was at Lindfield Public Shool, corner Pacific Highway and Grosvenor Road, a 10 minute walk from Lindfield train station.
