Course Description

The terrain ranges from easy walking open areas through forest with numerous marked roads to a large mostly forested area of complex topography with large granite features and few marked road.  The forest are an interesting mix of Native Cypress, Box, Ironbark, Figs and Kurrajongs.

The map will be based on the 1980 issue 1:25000 topo with 10m contours. Use has been made of Google Earth and other techniques to update features such as vegetation, roads, dams and buildings.  Contours and creeks have been corrected in the vicinity of a number of controls.
