About:

Maybe you have considered a 12 hour rogaine or a 24 hour rogaine but have held back because of concerns about navigating at night.  If this is you, then our annual night rogaine is an ideal opportunity to purge the nychtophobia from your minds and a chance to develop your night navigation skills in safe Sydney bushland where getting utterly lost is highly unlikely.

For the experienced rogainers this is an ideal opportunity to train for upcoming championship rogaines in a convenient location close to home.  No tents or caffeine are required.

And for the fully committed rogainers, we might even think that this is an ideal way to spend a Saturday night.

In 2021, the Hash House will be at the West Pennant Hills Community Centre less than a kilometre from the Bidjigal Reserve which has beautiful bushland valleys connecting Castle Hill to North Parramatta.  The rogaine course encompasses numerous interconnecting bush valleys separated by ridgelines featuring high value suburbia.

The course layout will encourage imaginative route choices and your course setter is dreaming that no two teams will follow the same route.   While every effort is being made to ensure the map includes all necessary track detail, we have noticed there is an abundance of tracks so participants will need to maintain their navigational concentration throughout.

For those of us interested in Sydney’s infrastructure secrets, look out for the enormous flood control dam across the Darling Mills Creek valley at the southern end of our course.

The 5 hour rogaine will start at 5.00pm.

The 3 hour rogaine will start at 5.30pm.

Rogaine teams must have between 2 and 5 members

The entry fees:

Full                 $40

Concession   $30
