Australian University Rogaining Championships
Are you a Uni Student and looking for another Rogaine to enter?
The 2010 Australian University Rogaining Championships are being held on the 18-19 September in Victoria with Victoria’s 2010 24 hr event. This is a great opportunity to participate in a Rogaine in another state, have your costs covered and even have a stab at winning the trophy.
The Nigel Aylott Memorial Sporting Foundation (NAMSF) is supporting rogaining for university students and is covering the travel and entry costs for one team from each state.
In addition, all full-time students aged 16 and over will be eligible for their entry fee to be reimbursed by NAMSF.
If you would like to apply for the travel grant, all you need to do is send us an email with the university you attend, your uni team mates names and give us a quick blurb on your past rogaine experience.
Please also include if you are undergraduate, postgraduate, full-time or part-time.
Please email your application to Gill:
gillofowler@gmail.com
If you have any questions you can also email Gill.
Rewarding of Volunteers through free entry or training
NSWRA has introduced a policy aimed at providing an incentive for volunteering and to recognise volunteers.
Commencing this year, volunteers who have made a major contribution to an event and forgone the opportunity to participate will be offered free entry to a NSWRA organised Rogaine, or a contribution to training.
